Yelawolf Australian Tour

We were lucky enough to talk to hip-hop’s rising star Yelawolf this morning in the warm-up to a string of shows around the country next month. With the release of his new album “Radioactive” on Eminem’s Shady Records, things have been busy for the Alabama native as we had a chance to chat about the usual, including him getting tattooed whilst in the country. Any takers?

TDU 80 out now!

It seems like an eternity ago that we finished up this issue due to the madness of Christmas and the New year, but Tattoos Downunder #80 is now out in all good newsagents! We took a fun trip to Sydney to catch up with Heath Nock and Lauren Winzer at Hunter & Fox, and it was an real honor to take a look at the progress of Lighthouse  Tattoo’s new studio with Alex Rusty and Nathan Puata. We also have an unreleased interview with San Francisco native Mike Giant from Gemma Jones from Melbourne’s Outre Gallery, coverage from the Melbourne Tattoo Expo and features with Luke Braniff, Pure Vision Tattoo and and amazing trip into the past with a double interview with Pete & Nick Tiliakos from the depths of Kings Cross. Enjoy!

Tattoo Candy 7 hits the shelves!

I’m happy and relieved that Tattoo Candy 7 is now out in all good newsagents! Every year we receive submissions from hundreds of Australian and New Zealand artists, and every year without fail the level of artistry hit another level. A big thank you to everyone who submitted work,  because without the support of all the great artists included, and also those who may not have made the pages, we wouldn’t be able to create these books. If you are looking for it and cannot find it anywhere, drop an email to sales@tattoosdownunder.com.au and we will do our best to help you get your hands on one!
